 You can have a pleasant shopping experience regardless of the weather at the arcade packed with various specialist shops. It is the perfect place for souvenir shopping as well. You can buy foods, clothes and kimono as well as large items such as furniture and futon. As well as doing some shopping, you can also have a meal or take a coffee break at one of the eateries or coffee houses dotted around the arcade. On January 2nd of each year, there is a bargain sale from early in the morning called Hatsuuri and the place bustles with many shoppers.
